après: A Delicate Distortion

An expression of restraint, surprise, and slow indulgence. après invites you to reconsider what dessert can be.

Derived from the French word meaning “after,” après embodies the quiet fulfilment that follows indulgence, with Chef Matin on a one-month ressidency in Cloudstreet, Singapore.  

Over 8 courses or more, après redefines the boundaries of dessert and fine dining. Each dish is rooted in refined simplicity and inspired by the natural world, evoking serene landscapes of meadows, forests, and coastlines. At the start of the journey, you may choose to curate supplementary courses to complete, disrupt, or elevate the experience.

This is not a typical dessert tasting. It’s a curated exploration of textures, temperatures, and tastes, where savoury and sweet elements intertwine in unexpected ways.

Expect bold pairings: kombu tart with sugar snap peas and pea husk sorbet; grilled Jerusalem artichokes glazed in salted koji caramel, served with kombu ice cream. Each course crafted to challenge expectations and awaken the senses.

Seats are limited to preserve the intimacy and depth of the experience.

Optional beverage pairings, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic will also be available for purchase during the experience.

2. Please note there is a 48-hour cancellation policy. 
3. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your reservation unfortunately won’t be eligible for a refund.
4. If a cancellation is made outside 48 hours of your reservation date & timing, you wil receive a 50% refund.
5. If you have strict allergies, feel free to reach out to us at hello@lematinpatisserie.com — we’ll do our best to assist.
6. Additional courses are offered as add-ons on the day itself and limited for purchase during the experience. 
7. We kindly ask guests to arrive on time, as Chef will begin the menu promptly. If you arrive late, you may miss some courses.

To maintain the atmosphere of the experience, we are unable to accommodate children under 12 at this time.
